The exercise below helps you avoid reactive language, make your role visible, and generate structural impact within your organization. You can use this exercise on your own, during peer supervision, or in collaboration with HR or management.

Exercise: Increasing Visibility through a Proactive Confidential Advisor Calendar

Goal: Make your presence and preventive value visible throughout the year.

Step 1: Create an annual calendar including:

  • Seasonal moments (January = New Year’s resolutions, May = mental health awareness, September = back to work)

  • Organizational rhythms (performance reviews, HR cycles, onboarding moments)

Step 2: Plan one visible action per month:

  • Organize a consultation hour

  • Publish an article in the newsletter

  • Host a drop-in session around a current theme

Step 3: Reflect quarterly:

  • What was the impact?

  • How was it received?

  • What will you take into account for the next month?
